Kinfolk

In celebration of Kinfolk Magazine’s 10th anniversary, Juno Shen was invited to exhibit one of her neon sculptures in the KINFOLK ROOM at the Intercontinental Club in Dameisha, Shenzhen. Her work, known for its expressive, labyrinthine curves, pushes glass to its physical limits, an approach once described by her mentor as a form of “tortured.” Each bend requires patient, intimate time with the flame, as every curve introduces fragility and risk, demanding both technical precision and emotional presence.
