Wavelengths
Hudson Wilder, Brookyn

Wavelengths is a new series of neon sculptures by Juno Shen exploring light as both energy and emotion. Each work generates a six-foot electric field when lit, an invisible aura that inspired the exhibition’s name. For the first time, Shen works with Venetian colored glass, creating luminous layers where the gas color glows within and the glass radiates outward, forming two distinct outlines of color. Mounted on air-brushed aluminum, the works soften the neon glow, transforming scientific wavelengths into sculptural interiors where energy can be quietly felt.
